The CRS-35 is a groundbreaking smartcard reader that also has the ability to be activated with a mobile app. With this product, you can add mobile entry capability to any access control system. The reader by default will return CSN number (but can also be special ordered to return sector information) from a standard MiFare card. Additionally, it also accepts Bluetooth credentials transmitted from a phone via the "Conekt" mobile app. Either method supplies a card ID to the access control. Farpointe sells the mobile credentials as encrypted QR barcodes that can be emailed or presented to customers phones to securely distribute the credential. The one reader part number can either be surface mounted mullion-style on a narrow door frame, or can be mounted on a standard electrical box with an included mounting adapter. The Conekt mobile app is comprehensive in that it gives you the ability to have multiple credentials (virtual cards) in the app as if the app was a wallet. Good feature if you want to use the mobile app over many different sites with different access control systems. Each card in the wallet can provide a different card format to the access control system depending on how Farpointe configures the credential. Reader is furnished with either Wiegand or OSDP output.
