Refund policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. If you are returning an item that is not defective but was ordered in error there is a 10% restock fee. This fee is waived if you contact us for an exchange for a similar item. In order to minimize returns, please contact us at 475-476-7006 for any pre-sales questions. We want to make sure what you are ordering is appropriate for your application before you place the order in order, to minimize returns and keep costs low.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the invoice or proof of purchase.
Electrical items that are damaged during installation are not eligible for return, unless returns are pre-authorized from the item's manufacturer.
To start a return, you can contact us at sales@shopandlock.net. If your return is accepted, you will be asked to ship the item back to us at your expense, unless something is defective out of the box, for which we can provide you with a return shipping label.
Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be refunded. For items sent back to us without authorization you will have to pay for shipping to return the item or talk to us about your case so that we may try and resolve the issue. Call us at 475-476-7006.
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like bespoke items such card readers made to customer sample, and other or special orders. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on clearance items, scratch-and-dent discounted items or gift cards.
We can not accept returns on electrical items that were damaged during installation, unless returns are pre-authorized from the item's manufacturer.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. Contact us at sales@shopandlock.net for genuine emergencies and we will try and arrange an advanced replacement if possible.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
