Domestic Shipping Policy

Shipping processing time

Items that are in-stock are typically processed during weekdays same day if ordered before 12:00pm EST.  Out-of-stock items may take additional processing time and may be dropped-shipped from participating manufacturers. Shop&Lock can not guarantee that next day air shipped deliveries will arrive by next day.  If you would like to coordinate a rush shipment please contact us at  sales@shopandlock.net or call 475-476-7006 where we can further detail available rush options and better track your expedited order.  Shop&Lock does not process orders over the weekend.

Shipping rates

Rates are calculated by the site and are based on current UPS rates and the weight of each product.  We ship from Connecticut, UPS Zone 8.

Sales Tax

There will be no sales tax collected on orders shipped outside of Connecticut.  Sales and Use Taxes may apply to your jurisdiction that you may be liable for.

Damages

Shop&Lock is not liable for any products that are damaged or lost during shipping.  If you have received a damaged item, please contact the carrier and us at  sales@shopandlock.net or 475-476-7006 to help file and track the claim.  Please save all received damaged shipment materials in their original form before filing a claim. 

Liability

Shop&Lock is also not liable for lost work time, contract issues, work stoppage, loss of business, added labor, customer damages, or any other type of liability caused by a product not arriving an an expected time.  We do our best to ship items efficiently in a timely manner, but the carrier and limitations on item availability sometimes delay orders. 

International Shipping Policy

Shop&Lock can not guarantee immediate shipping of items to destinations outside of the United States.  There are sometimes additional considerations with carriers, taxes, export restrictions and paperwork that take us additional time to process.  We reserve the right to cancel any order to international destinations that we can not efficiently process, document, or bill through our payment gateways.
